Dear Parents and Guardians,
Congratulations to our eighth graders on their high school acceptances. They have earned almost $450,000 in scholarship money to some of the finest Catholic high schools in the area as well as some of the more selective public high schools. We are proud of you!
Last week's Tricky Tray event was a wonderful evening of fun and prizes. So many compliments about the amazing number of beautiful gift baskets. Thank you to everyone who donated, and volunteered their time to make this evening terrific.
Annual Ice Cream Social Party - We will be holding our annual Ice Cream Social Party on Monday, June 5th at 7PM. Dancing, basket raffles, and prizes and of course -- ice cream!
Congratulations to our 8th graders: William Kunga, Brandon Johnson, and Jash Patel. These young men won the Gold Medal at the Hudson County STEM Showcase last month. They have been named the Blake Science Scholar/House of Israel Award. We are so proud of you!
Students have been enjoying their participation in Sr. Marie's Religion Club and her Technology Club. Through their participation, students have made a beautiful difference to our school and at the same time benefited greatly by developing their own skills.
Track season is off to a wonderful start. Thank you to Coach Sasso for organizing these events. The kids are developing wonderful skills, and I am sure will be strong competitors in their league. Way to go runners!
Our Spring Play - The Wizard of Oz is on! The event will be on Wednesday, June 7th at 7PM in the school auditorium. Thank you to Mr. Bongiorno and Miss Obiedzinski for another wonderful production. Can't wait to see our shining stars!
Our Book Buddies Club has enrolled so many new members! We obviously have many, many awesome readers. Mrs. Whelihan will be recognizing the new students who achieved milestones of 500 - 1,000 - and 1,500 pages of reading wonderful books in just one month. See our Facebook page for the details:
Our summer Kiddie Camp and Basketball Camps are now taking enrollment. Monday - Friday 9:00 - 3:00. Through August 11th (closed the week of July 4th).
