Dear Parents and Guardians,

Congratulations to our eighth graders on their recent acceptances to high school. They have earned over $200,000 in scholarship money to date, and are waiting to hear the final acceptances. They will be attending some of the finest Catholic high schools in the area as well as some of the more selective public high schools. Further updates will be communicated once all the decisions have been announced. We are proud of you!

Our girls and boys basketball season is in full swing, as is our bowling league for another season at Bowl Rite Lanes. Spring Track is scheduled to begin during the 2nd week of March - weather permitting.

Our basketball teams have had a great season, and are preparing for the playoffs. The Spring Dance will be held April 28th. Look for information to come home regarding the Spring Track season at Pershing Field.

Our Junior High students have been enjoying the Marist High School Science Workshops. Students have been participating in high school level science classes and are coached in writing Research Reports. The STEM Showcase organized by Mrs. Ellen Millan produced many fine STEM projects. Our winners have been invited to represent our school at the Hudson County STEM Showcase this spring. Stay tuned for more information. Mrs. Millan's STEM Science Club has produced their very own lip balm. What could be better than this type of learning in this environment?

Students have been enjoying their participation in Sr. Marie's Religion Club and her Technology Club. Through their participation, students have made a beautiful difference to our school and at the same time benefited greatly by developing their own skills.

Our Book Buddies Club is off to a fantastic start. Mrs. Whelihan recognized six students who have achieved milestones of 500 - 1,000 - and 1,500 pages of reading wonderful books in just one month. See our Facebook page for the details:

Our Tricky Tray is set for Friday, May 12th at 7PM. Please call the school office at 201-659-5948 to purchase your tickets for this wonderful evening of fun and prizes.

We had a very successful Open House. Parents interested in registering for next fall received personal tours from our National Junior Honor Society students. Registration materials are available now. Please call the school at 201-659-5948 to schedule your tour today.

Have a great day!
